The family and friends of Jerry Reed are holding their 7th annual Dine To Donate fundraiser at Aubree’s in Dexter on November 30 to benefit the Jerry Reed Memorial Fund at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Before his death in 2010, Jerry was a longtime employee at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. His concern for the great need so many families have when they have a sick child inspired the creation of the fund. The Jerry Reed Memorial Fund was started to help solve immediate crisis — from emergency car repairs to helping purchase groceries and even rent — to allow families to focus on their loved one in the hospital. We continue to try to help these families get help during their child’s hospitalization through this fund.
The evening will feature a silent auction from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with items including autographed sports memorabilia, restaurant gift cards, travel, jewelry and spa packages.
All of the proceeds from the silent auction go toward the cause.
